Indian benchmark equity indices ended marginally higher on September 16.
Sensex ended 97.84 points higher at 82,988.78, whereas Nifty concluded 27.25 points up at 25,383.75.
Top Nifty gainers included NTPC, JSW Steel, Hindalco Industries, Shriram Finance and L&T, while losers were Bajaj Finance, HUL, Bajaj Finserv, SBI Life Insurance and Britannia Industries.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 71.77 points lower at 82,890.94, whereas Nifty concluded 32.40 points down at 25,356.50.
