Mumbai: Market ended higher for the second consecutive day after RBI announced some key measures.
Sensex closed today on April 17, 2020 at 986.11 points high at 31,588.72. Similarly, Nifty ended 273.95 points up at 9,266.75.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on April 16, 2020 at 222.80 points high at 30,602.61. Similarly, Nifty ended 67.50 points up at 8,992.80.
Axis Bank, Eicher Motors, ICICI Bank, Maruti Suzuki and IndusInd Bank were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers were Nestle, HUL, Bharti Infratel, Sun Pharma and Tech Mahindra.
