Mumbai: Equity benchmark indices ended higher on Monday. Sensex closed on July 13, 2020 at 99.36 points higher at 36,693.69. Nifty ended 34.65 points high at 10,802.70.
Today in the early trade, Equity benchmark indices edged higher by about 1 per cent on firm global cues with IT and auto stocks witnessing handsome gains.
Tech Mahindra, Hindalco Industries, HCL Technologies, JSW Steel and Reliance Industries were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers were Power Grid, HDFC Bank, Bajaj Finance, HDFC and ICICI Bank.
