The equity benchmark indices BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty ended higher on June 25.
Sensex ended 712.45 points up at 78,053.52, whereas Nifty concluded 183.45 points up at 23,721.30.
Shriram Finance, Axis Bank, ICICI Bank, HDFC bank, and Tech Mahindra led the gains while BPCL, Eicher Motors, Power Grid, Asian Paints, and Tata Steel were the top decliners in the Nifty 50 universe.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 131.18 points up at 77,341.08, whereas Nifty concluded 36.75 points up at 23,537.85.
