Mumbai: Benchmark indices ended flat today amid high volatility. Sensex closed on 16th April at 28.35 points higher at 48,832.03. Nifty ended 28.35 points high at 14,591.25.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on 15th April at 259.62 points higher at 48,803.68. Nifty ended 82.55 points high at 14,587.35.
Wipro, Hindalco Industries, Cipla, Asian Paints and UltraTech Cement were among amjor gainers on the Nifty, while losers were JSW Steel, ICICI Bank, Bajaj Finance, Larsen and Toubro and Tata Steel.
