Benchmark indices ended flat today amid volatility. Sensex ended 3.94 points marginally higher at 65,220.03, whereas Nifty concluded 2.85 points up at 19,396.45.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 267.43 points higher at 65,216.09, whereas Nifty concluded 83.45 points up at 19,393.60.
Adani Enterprises, HDFC Life, ITC, NTPC and Hero MotoCorp were among the top gainers on the Nifty, while losers were BPCL, Cipla, Bajaj Finserv, Eicher Motors and TCS.
