Mumbai: Benchmark indices erased intraday gain and ended on flat note in the volatile session today. Sensex closed on 22nd June at 14.25 points higher at 52,588.71. Nifty ended 26.25 points higher at 15,772.75.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on 21st June at 230.01 points higher at 52,574.46. Nifty ended 63.15 points higher at 15,746.50.
Top gainers included Maruti Suzuki, UPL, Shree Cements, Wipro and SBI Life Insurance, while losers were Asian Paints, Bajaj Finance, Nestle, HUL and Kotak Mahindra Bank on the Nifty.
