Benchmark indices ended in the negative zone amid dull global cues. Sensex closed at 59,029, down 168 points while the Nifty50 ended 31 points down at 17,624.
Mahindra & Mahindra, IndusInd Bank, Bharti Airtel, State Bank of India, Tata Steel, Maruti, ICICI Bank, and HDFC were the Sensex pack’s biggest laggards.
Among the toppers were UltraTech Cement, Tata Consultancy Services, Sun Pharma, Wipro, and Bajaj Finance.
