Mumbai: The equity benchmark indices ended flat today. Sensex closed on 25th August at 14.77 points lower at 55,944.21. Nifty ended 10.05 points higher at 16,634.65.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on 24th August at 403.19 points higher at 55,958.98. Nifty ended 117.90 points higher at 16,614.35.
Adani Ports, HDFC Life, Hindalco, Coal India and ONGC were the top Nifty gainers. Bajaj Finserv, Titan Company, Maruti Suzuki, Bharti Airtel and JSW Steel were among the top losers.
