Mumbai: The equity benchmark indices ended flat today. Sensex closed on December 30 at 12.17 points lower at 57,794.32. Nifty ended 9.65 points lower at 17,203.95.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on December 29 at 90.99 points lower at 57,806.49. Nifty ended 19.65 points lower at 17,213.60.
NTPC, IndusInd Bank, Cipla, HCL Technologies and Dr Reddy’s Laboratories were among the top Nifty gainers. Losers included Bajaj Auto, JSW Steel, Reliance Industries, UPL and Tata Steel.
