Mumbai: Sensex closed on January 29 at 231.80 points higher at 41,198.66. Similarly, Nifty ended 73.30 points down at 12,129.10.
Tata Motors, Bajaj Finance, Bharti Infratel, Nestle and Bajaj Finserv were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers were Eicher Motors, TCS, Yes Bank, Dr Reddy’s Labs and HDFC.
Sensex closed on January 28, 2020 at 188.26 points lower at 40,966.86. Similarly, Nifty ended 63.20 points down at 12,055.80.
The rupee is trading at 71.235 against the dollar.
