Mumbai: Benchmark indices ended flat on Friday. Sensex ended today 22.71 points higher at 59,655.06, whereas Nifty settled 0.40 points down at 17,624.05.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 64.55 points higher at 59,632.35, whereas Nifty was up 5.70 points at 17,624.45.
TCS, ITC, Britannia Industries, Wipro and Asian Paints were among the major gainers on the Nifty, while losers were HDFC Life, Tech Mahindra, Adani Enterprises, SBI Life Insurance and Maruti Suzuki.
