Mumbai: Equity benchmark indices ended lower on Friday. Sensex closed on July 24, 2020 at 11.57 points lower at 38,128.90. Nifty ended 21.30 points low at 11,194.15.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on July 23, 2020 at 268.95 points higher at 38,140.47. Nifty ended 82.85 points higher at 11,215.45.
Reliance Industries, HCL Tech, Tech Mahindra, Sun Pharma and Infosys were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers included Zee Entertainment, Hindalco, Axis Bank, SBI and Gail India.
