Mumbai: Equity Indices ended on flat note today. On September 2, Sensex closed 36.74 points higher at 58,803.33. Nifty ended 3.35 points lower at 17,539.45.
In the previous season, on September 1, Sensex closed 770.48 points lower at 58,766.59. Nifty ended 216.50 points low at 17,542.80.
BPCL, Shree Cements, Hero MotoCorp, Hindalco Industries, ONGC were among major losers on the Nifty, while gainers were HDFC, ITC, Adani Ports, Larsen and Toubro and HDFC Bank.
