Indian benchmark indices ended higher for the second consecutive session on June 6 amid volatility.
Sensex ended 692.27 points higher at 75,074.51, whereas Nifty concluded 201.05 points up at 22,821.40.
HCL Technologies, Shriram Finance, SBI Life Insurance, Tech Mahindra and SBI were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers were Hindalco Industries, HUL, Asian Paints, Hero MotoCorp and Nestle.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 2,303.20 points higher at 74,382.24, whereas Nifty concluded 735.85 points up at 22,620.35.
