Mumbai: The BSE Sensex settled 289.13 points lower at 37,397.24. Similarly, NSE Nifty ended 103.80 points down at 11,085.40.
Bharti Airtel, TCS, HCL Tech, Wipro and HDFC Bank were among the top gainers today rising up to 3.19 per cent.
Top losers in the Sensex pack included Yes Bank, IndusInd Bank, HeroMotoCorp, Sun Pharma, SBI falling up to 9.13 per cent.
In Asian markets, Shanghai Composite Index, Hang Seng, Nikkei and Kospi closed on a positive note ahead of US-China trade talks and Federal Reserve policy.
