Mumbai: Benchmark indices ended lower today. Sensex closed on 12th May at 471.01 points lower at 48,690.80. Nifty ended 154.25 points low at 14,696.50.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on 11th May at 340.60 points lower at 49,161.81. Nifty ended 91.60 points low at 14,850.75.
Tata Steel, Hindalco Industries, JSW Steel, IndusInd Bank and HUL were among the top losers on the Nifty. Gainers included Tata Motors, Titan Company, Maruti Suzuki, Power Grid Corp and UPL.
