Mumbai: Sensex closed on November 5, 2019, at 53.73 points lower at 40,248.23. Similarly, Nifty ended 24.10 points down at 11,917.20.
Bajaj Finance, YES Bank, Bharti Airtel, and SBI were among the top gainers today.
IndusInd Bank, Sun Pharma, Infosys, Tata Steel and M&M were among the top losers today.
In the previous season on Monday, Sensex closed at 136.93 points higher at 40,301.96. Similarly, Nifty ended 50.70 points up at 11,941.30.
The rupee is trading at 70.695 against the dollar.
