Mumbai: Indian benchmark equity indices recouped day’s losses to end flat on Wednesday. Sensex closed on 2nd June at 85.40 points lower at 51,849.48. Nifty ended flat at 15,576.20.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on 1st June at 2.56 points lower at 51,934.88. Nifty ended 7.95 points low at 15,574.85.
UPL, Tata Steel, SBI Life Insurance, IndusInd Bank and Adani Ports were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers included ITC, Tech Mahindra, Axis Bank, Asian Paints and Kotak Mahindra Bank.
