Equity benchmarks Sensex and Nifty open higher in the morning session on Tuesday. At 10:08 am, the BSE S&P Sensex was up by 345.27 points at 39,318.97 while the Nifty 50 gained by 96.55 points at 11,599.90.
Asian Paints, IndusInd Bank, HDFC Bank, Mahindra and Mahindra and State Bank of India were among the top gainer on the Sensex chart.
Sensex closed on October 5, 2020, at 276.65 points high at 38,973.70. Nifty ended 86.40 points high at 11,503.35.
