Mumbai: The Indian equity benchmark indices ended at a record closing high today. Sensex closed on 3rd June at 382.95 points higher at 52,232.43. Nifty ended 114.15 points high at 15,690.35.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on 2nd June at 85.40 points lower at 51,849.48. Nifty ended flat at 15,576.20.
Titan Company, ONGC, Eicher Motors, Larsen and Toubro and Axis Bank were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers included IndusInd Bank, Wipro, Dr Reddy’s Lab, Cipla and Bajaj Auto.
