Mumbai: Benchmark indices ended on flat note today amid high volatility. Sensex closed on 16th March at 31.12 points lower at 50,363.96. Nifty ended 5.50 points low at 14,924.00.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on 15th March at 397.00 points lower at 50,395.08. Nifty ended 101.45 points low at 14,929.50.
Cipla, Tata Steel, ICICI Bank, BPCL and L&T were among major losers, while gainers included Asian Paints, Dr Reddy’s Labs, HCL Technologies, HUL and TCS.
