Mumbai: Equity benchmark indices ended flat in the highly volatile session today. Sensex closed on September 29, 2020 at 8.41 points low at 37,973.22. Nifty ended 5.15 points low at 11,222.40.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on September 28, 2020 at 592.97 points high at 37,981.63. Nifty ended 177.30 points high at 11,227.55.
Hindalco Industries, UltraTech Cement, JSW Steel, Hero MotoCorp and TCS were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers included ONGC, IndusInd Bank, UPL, Power Grid Corp and Axis Bank.
