Mumbai: Equity benchmark indices ended flat in the volatile session on Wednesday. Sensex closed on August 05, 2020 at 24.58 points lower at 37,663.33. Nifty ended 6.40 points high at 11,101.65.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on August 04, 2020 at 748.31 points higher at 37,687.91. Nifty ended 203.65 points high at 11,095.25.
Hindalco Industries, Tata Steel, Eicher Motors, Adani Ports and Tata Motors were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers were UPL, HDFC Life, Power Grid Corp, Reliance Industries and HDFC Bank.
