Indian equity markets ended flat on January 13 amid volatility.
Sensex ended 32.11 points lower at 76,138.97, whereas Nifty concluded 13.85 points down at 23,031.40.
Tata Steel, Sun Pharma, Bajaj Finance, Cipla, Bajaj Finserv were among the top gainers on the Nifty, while losers were Adani Enterprises, Hero MotoCorp, Adani Ports, Infosys, ONGC.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 122.52 points lower at 76,171.08, whereas Nifty concluded 26.55 points down at 23,045.25.
Indian rupee ended flat at 86.89 per dollar on Thursday against Wednesday’s close of 86.88.
