Indian benchmark indices ended flat on December 26 amid volatility.
Sensex ended 0.39 points lower at 78,472.48, whereas Nifty concluded 22.55 points up at 23,750.20.
Adani Ports, Shriram Finance, M&M, Maruti Suzuki, SBI Life Insurance were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers were Titan Company, Asian Paints, Nestle, JSW Steel, Grasim Industries.
Indian rupee ended at new record low at 85.26 per dollar on Thursday versus Tuesday’s close of 85.20.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 67.30 points lower at 78,472.87, whereas Nifty concluded 25.80 points down at 23,727.65.
