Mumbai: Benchmark indices ended flat today. Sensex closed on 31 December at 5.11 points higher at 47,751.33. Nifty ended almost flat at 13,981.75.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on 30 December at 133.14 points higher at 47,746.22. Nifty ended 49.35 points high at 13,981.95.
Nifty Bank, PSU Bank, Private Bank, FMCG and IT indices ended in the red.
