Mumbai: Sensex closed on 23rd October 2019 at 94.99 points higher at 39,058.83. Similarly, Nifty too ended 15.75 points up at 11,604.10.
HDFC, ICICI Bank, Tata Consultancy Services, Maruti Suzuki and HCL Technologies were among the top gainers today, while Reliance Industries, Bharti Airtel, Kotak Mahindra Bank and Larsen & Toubro were among the top losers.
In the previous season on Tuesday Sensex ended 334.54 points lower at 38,963.84. Similarly, Nifty too ended 71.50 points down at 11,590.35. The rupee is trading at 70.94 against the dollar.
