Mumbai: Benchmark indices ended marginally higher on November 10.
Sensex ended 72.48 points higher at 64,904.68, whereas Nifty concluded 30.05 points up at 19,425.35.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 143.41 points lower at 64,832.20, whereas Nifty concluded 48.20 points down at 19,395.30.
Last-hour buying in heavyweights like HDFC Bank, ITC, Axis Bank and ICICI Bank helped the benchmarks recover from losses. M&M was the worst hit among Nifty 50, down 2 percent on lower-than-expected Q2 earnings.
