The domestic benchmark indices ended marginally higher in the volatile session on January 11.
Sensex ended 63.47 points higher at 71,721.18, whereas Nifty concluded 28.50 points up at 21,647.20.
Hero MotoCorp, Bajaj Auto, Reliance Industries, Axis Bank and BPCL were among the Top gainers on the Nifty, while losers included Infosys, Dr Reddy’s Laboratories, SBI Life Insurance, HUL and Wipro.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 271.50 points higher at 71,657.71, whereas Nifty concluded 73.85 points up at 21,618.70.
