Sensex, Nifty end marginally higher amid volatility

Indian benchmark indices ended marginally higher in the volatile session on July 4.

Sensex ended 62.88 points higher at 80,049.67, whereas Nifty concluded 15.65 points up at 24,302.15.

Top Nifty gainers were HCL Technologies, ICICI Bank, Sun Pharma, Infosys and Tata Motors, while top losers included HDFC Bank, Bajaj Finance, Wipro, Tech Mahindra and Adani Enterprises.

In the previous season, Sensex ended 545.34 points higher at 79,986.80, whereas Nifty concluded 162.65 points down at 24,286.50.
