Indian benchmark indices ended marginally higher on April 23.
Sensex ended 89.84 points higher at 73,738.45, whereas Nifty concluded 31.60 points up at 22,368.00.
Grasim Industries, Bharti Airtel, Nestle India, Maruti Suzuki and HCL Technologies were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers included Sun Pharma, BPCL, Reliance Industries, M&M and Hindalco Industries.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 560.29 points higher at 73,648.62, whereas Nifty concluded 189.40 points up at 22,336.40.
