Mumbai: Sensex today on 18th October 2019 was trading 122.21 points higher at 39,174.27, while NSE Nifty surged 32.30 points 11,618.65 in morning trade.
Similarly, at 10:15 am, Sensex was trading at 39052.06 points, and Nifty was trading at 11586.35 points.
Yes Bank, Vedanta, Hero MotoCorp, PowerGrid, L&T, Bajaj Finance and HDFC Bank were among the top gainers.
Bharti Airtel, Infosys, IndusInd Bank, HCL Tech, Asian Paints and Bajaj Auto were among the top losers.
On the currency front, the rupee, depreciated by 3 paise against the US dollar to trade at 71.19 in early session.
