Mumbai: BSE Sensex today on 25th September 2019 was trading 303.70 points lower at 38,793.44 at 09:30 am. On the other hand, the NSE Nifty fell 92.70 points at 11,495.50 in morning trade.
Similarly, at 10:30 am, Sensex was trading at 38,705.80 points, and Nifty was trading at 11,477.15 points.
PowerGrid, RIL, NTPC, TCS, HCL Tech, Tech Mahindra and Bharti Airtel were among the top gainers rising up to 2 per cent.
Tata Motors, SBI, HDFC twins, Vedanta, Tata Steel, Kotak Bank, Axis Bank, Maruti, Infosys, ITC and ICICI Bank were among the top losers falling up to 3 per cent.
On the currency front, the Indian rupee depreciated 7 paise against its previous close at 71.08 in early session.
Global oil benchmark Brent crude fell 0.71 per cent to 62.65 per barrel.
