Mumbai: Sensex today on 9th October 2019 was trading 36.04 points higher at 37,568.02, while NSE Nifty was almost flat at 11,127.40 in morning trade.
Similarly, at 10:17 am, Sensex was trading at 37,439 points, and Nifty was trading at 11,100 points.
ICICI Bank, Kotak Bank, L&T, M&M, IndusInd Bank, Asian Paints and HDFC Bank were among the top gainers.
Yes Bank, HCL Tech, ONGC, Hero MotoCorp, TCS, Tata Steel and Infosys were among the top losers.
On the currency front, the rupee, meanwhile, depreciated by 9 paise to 71.11 against the US dollar in early session.
