Mumbai: Sensex today on January 17 was trading 3.68 points lower at 41,928.88. Similarly NSE Nifty was trading 1.85 points down at 12,353.65.
Similarly, at 10:15 am, Sensex was trading at 42,037.92 points, whereas Nifty was trading at 12,378.50
Bharti Airtel, Reliance Industries (RIL), TCS and HCL Tech were the top gainer in the Sensex pack. On the other hand, IndusInd Bank, SBI, HDFC twins, Kotak Bank, Power Grid and Ultratech Cement were top losers.
On the currency front, the rupee depreciated 5 paise to 70.98 against the US dollar in morning session.
