Equity benchmark Sensex jumped in early trade on Friday. At 10:15 am, the 30-share BSE index was trading 254.35 points higher at 41,594.51. Similarly, the broader NSE Nifty climbed 77.20 points to 12,197.50.
Reliance Industries was the top gainer in the Sensex pack followed by M&M, Bajaj Auto, Tata Steel, NTPC, Titan and HDFC.
On the other hand, Tech Mahindra, Nestle India, Bharti Airtel, PowerGrid and Infosys were among the laggards.
