Mumbai: Equity benchmark Sensex jumped over 150 points on Monday.
At 10:12 am, the 30-share BSE index was trading 73.93 points higher at 52,173.98 in initial deals. Similarly, the broader NSE Nifty advanced 43.30 points to 15,713.55.
PowerGrid was the top gainer in the Sensex pack followed by L&T, NTPC, ONGC, ITC, SBI, Bajaj Auto and ICICI Bank.
On the other hand, Bajaj Finserv, HDFC, Asian Paints and Dr Reddy’s were among the laggards.
