Mumbai: Domestic equity benchmark Sensex jumped over 200 points in opening session on Thursday.
Today at 10;03 am, the BSE Sensex was trading 232.91 points higher at 38,304.04; while the NSE Nifty was up 67.45 points at 11,270.30.
In the previous session, Sensex closed on July 29, 2020 at 421.82 points lower at 38,071.13. Nifty ended 97.70 points high at 11,202.85.
TCS was the top gainer in the Sensex pack followed by HCL Tech, Asian Paints, Tech Mahindra, Titan, Infosys and Bharti Airtel. On the other hand, IndusInd Bank, PowerGrid, Sun Pharma, HUL, Kotak Bank and HDFC were among the laggards.
