Mumbai: BSE Sensex today on 1st October 2019 was trading 250.06 points higher at 38,917.39. On the other hand, the NSE Nifty surged 69.30 points at 11,543.75 in morning trade.
Similarly, at 10:40 am, Sensex was trading at 38,636 points, and Nifty was trading at 11,467 points.
Yes Bank, Axis Bank, ICICI Bank, PowerGrid, Tata Motors and HDFC Bank were among the top gainers.
ONGC, Bharti Airtel, TCS, HCL Tech, Infosys and Tech Mahindra were among the top losers.
On the currency front, the Indian rupee was trading 10 paise higher at 70.77 against the US dollar.
