Mumbai: Sensex today on February 10 was trading 171.90 points lower at 40,969.95. Similarly NSE Nifty was trading 51.45 points low at 12,046.90.
Similarly, at 10:10 am, Sensex was trading at 40,913.73 points, whereas Nifty was trading at 12,019.40.
ICICI Bank, Bajaj Finance, Bajaj Auto, HDFC and SBI were the top gainers. On the other hand, Tata Steel, Mahindra & Mahindra, ONGC, NTPC, PowerGrid, Titan and IndusInd Bank were the top losers.
On the currency front, the rupee appreciated 9 paise against the US dollar to 71.34 in morning session.
