The benchmark BSE Sensex rebounded over 500 points and the NSE Nifty recaptured the key 14,500-level in the opening session on Tuesday.
At 10:22 am, the Sensex was trading at 48,235.69, showing a rise of 286.27 points in opening deals; while the broader Nifty was trading higher by 96.55 points at 14,456.00.
On the Sensex, barring three IT stocks — HCL Tech, Tech Mahindra and TCS — all shares were trading in the green.
