Equity benchmark Sensex rallied over 400 points in opening trade on Friday.
At 10:12 am, the 30-share BSE index was trading 533.92 points higher at 50,098.78, and the broader NSE Nifty surged 155.90 points to 15,061.95.
IndusInd Bank was the top gainer in the Sensex pack followed by Kotak Bank, SBI, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank and Bajaj Finance.
On the other hand, PowerGrid was the sole loser.
