Mumbai, Jun 17 (UNI) The benchmark index of Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Monday tanked by 491.28 points to settle at 38,960.79 after India slapped higher tariffs on certain US products in retaliation to Washington’s decision to remove certain trade privileges for New Delhi.
The Nifty of National Stock Exchange (NSE) too dropped by 151.15 points at 11,672.15.
The Sensex registered the day’s high and low at 39,540.42 and 38,911.49 points respectively.
The Nifty registered day’s high and low at 11,844.05 and 11,657.75 points, respectively.
