Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh: The sugarcane crushing season at the mill concluded on Thursday night. General Manager Jang Bahadur Yadav and Chief Engineer Mahendra Yadav cut the cane carrier chain after no more sugarcane arrived, reported Live Hindustan.
The mill administration had set a target of crushing 37 lakh quintals of sugarcane during the crushing season. General Manager Jang Bahadur Yadav informed that 28 lakh 43 thousand quintals of sugarcane were crushed this season. The cane payment for the farmers has been made up to March 9th. The remaining payment will also be made soon.
