Powayan (Shahjahanpur), Uttar Pradesh: The sugar mill has formed teams to prevent the transportation of sugarcane from its area to other regions. On Saturday, the team from the Kisan Sahkari Chini Mill inspected several routes where tractor-trailers loaded with sugarcane were passing.
This year, the sugarcane area has decreased, prompting sugar mill officials to remain vigilant. The Kisan Sahkari Chini mill is operating at full capacity. To ensure a continuous supply of sugarcane, on Saturday, the District Cane Officer directed a team, led by Chief Cane Officer Praveen Kumar Yadav, Senior Cane Development Inspector Manish Kumar Shukla, and Cane Committee Secretary Vinod Kumar, to prevent any diversion of sugarcane to other areas, reported local newspaper Amar Ujala.
Following this, the team conducted checks in several places within the cane area of the Kisan Sahkari Chini mill. During the inspection, they enquired farmers transporting sugarcane and appealed to them to supply it to the local sugar mill.
