Shamli, Uttar Pradesh: Sugar mills are in preparation mode to commence crushing season. They have completed 70 per cent of the total work related to repair and maintenance and it is expected that the remaining work will be completed by October 20.
According to the news report published in Amar Ujala, mills will start the crushing season after Diwali.
In the upcoming season, state is expected to witness bumper cane production. Therefore mills are working to ensure that they work smoothly without any interruption.
