Mumbai, Aug 30 (PTI) Small sugar prices declined at the Vashi wholesale market here today on subdued demand from stockists and bulk consumers.
Medium sugar ended mixed owing to alternate bouts of buying and selling activity.
Small sugar (S-30) moved down by Rs 7 per quintal to Rs 3,110/3,205 from Wednesday’s closing of Rs 3,110/3,212.
Medium sugar (M-30) was quoted at Rs 3,220/3,446 as against Rs 3,210/3,452.
Following are today’s closing rates for sugar (per quintal) with the previous rates given in brackets:
Small sugar (S-30) quality: Rs 3,110/3,205 (Rs 3,110/3,212).
Medium sugar (M-30) quality: Rs 3,220/3,446 (Rs 3,210/3,452).
