The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Wednesday said that Southwest Monsoon has further advanced into some more parts of Maharashtra, entire Telangana and some more parts of Chhattisgarh today, the 12th June, 2024.
“Conditions are favourable for further advance of Southwest Monsoon into some more parts of Odisha, Coastal Andhra Pradesh & northwest Bay of Bengal during next 3-4 days,” IMD posted on X.
Yesterday IMD had stated that heavy to very heavy rainfall likely to continue over Maharashtra & Goa on 11th June and over Karnataka, Kerala & Telangana on 11th& 12th June and decrease thereafter.
