Vadodra: Milling is the traditional method of extracting juice from sugarcane. Although milling technology dates back to before the 20th century, there have been and continue to be innovations to improve aspects of the milling process.
To discuss more on the subject and explore technological advancements, The Sugar Technologists Association of India with support from The Gujarat State Federation of Cooperative Sugar Factories Ltd. is organizing All India one day seminar on “Latest Technologies in Sugarcane Milling” on Date: 3rd April 2020 at Hotel BRG Budget Stay “Sargam House”, Near Circuit House, Kevadia, Gujarat (Near Statue of Unity) The venue is about 90 kms from Vadodra airport/railway station. Time: 0900-1500 hrs.
In conversation with ChiniMandi News, Mr.Sanjay Awasthi – President – STAI shared his views on the event taking place. He said, “The seminar is being organized to focus on modern cane preparation technologies, modern mill configurations and control philosophy designed to increase capacity and/or extraction performance along with reduction in overall power consumption. “
STAI has also made a call for papers – Soft copies of technical papers on the above subjects are invited from authors for presentation in the seminar. The last date for the submission of the papers is 20th March 2020 by mail to amit.khatter@staionline.org.
Senior Industry experts, Scientists, Technology Providers, Consultants and Academicians have been invited to deliberate on topics relevant to the seminar. The seminar will be of great relevance to the CEOs, HODs, Managers and other associated professionals.
